MKC's licensed electricians handle new construction wiring, commercial buildout electrical, circuit and outlet additions, and the electrical work that comes with complex remodels. Our electrical team works alongside plumbing, HVAC, and gas on multi-trade jobs — one schedule, one point of contact.

What We Do

Commercial Kitchen & Buildout Electrical

Complete electrical infrastructure for commercial kitchen buildouts and tenant improvements — new panels, dedicated circuits, outlet placement, appliance wiring, and dishwasher connections to code.

New Circuits & Outlet Installation

Adding circuits and outlets for appliances, room additions, garage conversions, and home expansions. Properly permitted and inspected.

Residential Construction Wiring

Full electrical rough-in and trim for new residential construction. All wiring, panel work, and fixtures through final inspection.

After-the-Fact Electrical Permits

Electrical work done without a permit — inspected, documented, and permitted through the after-the-fact process. Coordinated with our Engineer of Record (EOR) when engineering certification is required.

Code Compliance & Panel Upgrades

Bringing older electrical systems up to current code — panel replacements, GFCI upgrades, and code corrections required for permit closeouts or property sales.

Recent Projects

Commercial Kitchen Electrical — Resort

Full electrical buildout for a commercial kitchen renovation. Ran new electrical lines throughout, added outlets throughout the kitchen, wired the dishwasher, and installed all new circuits for commercial kitchen equipment — built from scratch.

After-the-Fact Electrical Permit — Change of Occupancy

As part of converting a salon to a food business, MKC managed the after-the-fact permit process for existing electrical work. Coordinated with our Engineer of Record (EOR) for required documentation and closed all open permits as part of the Certificate of Occupancy process.

Residential Electrical — Multi-Project Remodels

Electrical work across multiple residential remodel projects — new circuits, outlet additions, fixture installations, and panel coordination as part of broader MKC renovation scopes.

Electrical FAQs

Yes. Panel upgrades, new circuits, and most significant electrical work requires a permit and a passing inspection. We pull permits and schedule inspections on every job that requires them — you don't have to figure that out yourself.

Yes. If electrical work was done without a permit — whether by a previous owner or an unlicensed contractor — we can assess it, document it, and permit it retroactively. When engineering certification is needed, we coordinate with our Engineer of Record (EOR) so there's no separate firm to track down.

Usually one day. We'll confirm your specific timeline before we start. Most panel upgrades go start-to-finish in a single visit.

Yes. We've done full electrical buildouts for commercial kitchens, tenant improvements, office spaces, and mixed-use projects — new panels, dedicated circuits, appliance wiring, and everything through final inspection.

Yes — that's the whole point. When a project needs electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, all three teams are scheduled under one crew on one timeline. No waiting for separate companies to coordinate with each other.
