MKC's Engineer of Record (PE42462) produces the signed and sealed documentation that gets complex projects permitted, closes disputed inspections, and certifies work that was completed without a permit. Having the EOR on the same team as the contractor means engineering is part of the workflow — not a bottleneck.

What We Do
After-the-Fact Affidavits
Work completed without a permit doesn't have to be torn down. Our PE assesses existing conditions, produces as-built blueprints, and issues a signed affidavit certifying the work meets current code — so it can be permitted retroactively without demolition.
Engineering As-Built Blueprints
Accurate as-built documentation of existing structures and systems. Used for after-the-fact permits, insurance claims, property sales, and as the foundation for renovation permits.
Private Provider Inspections
Our PE serves as a licensed private provider — replacing city or county inspectors with PE-certified inspection and documentation. Same legal standing, more flexible scheduling.
Foundation & Concrete Slab Certification
After-the-fact inspection and PE letter for concrete slab and foundation work. We assess existing conditions, confirm structural adequacy, and issue the letter required for permit closeout.
Plumbing & Sewage System Certification
Engineering certification for completed plumbing and sewage system installations — confirming the work meets Florida code. Signed and sealed by PE.
Roof Drain Inspections & Affidavits
Inspection and PE-signed affidavit for roof drain systems on flat and commercial-style roofs — certifying drain installation, slope, capacity, and code compliance.
Reframing Blueprints & Structural Instructions
PE-stamped reframing blueprints and written structural instructions for framing modifications, repairs, and additions. Required for permits involving structural changes.

After-the-Fact Compliance Letter — Missed Inspection
An electrician who had done his own work on a four-story personal residence had missed required inspections. Our PE inspected all relevant systems and issued a compliance letter that allowed the permit to close.
